Sports Day/Last Week in Grade 2

Tomorrow afternoon (June 25th) is Sports Day! We will be outside from 1:00-2:15 so students should dress for the weather- hats are also a great idea. If students are able to put on their own sunscreen and bug spray they can bring it to school.

On Tuesday afternoon, students are invited to bring in their favourite board game if they have one. They should know how to play the game so they can practice explaining the instructions to others that they are playing with. We will send the game back home with them that same day. Students will get a chance to practice fair play, fun, and expressing themselves by giving game instructions.

Wednesday is a half day with dismissal at noon. Students will receive their report cards, and will also bring a few more workbooks and indoor shoes home. Please have them bring a back pack that day so they can carry their items home!!
