Coming home today are field trip forms for our trip to National Music Centre!

The forms will say which day your child is scheduled to go on the field trip.
We are expected to leave the school by 8:40 by bus and return back to the school around 2:20pm. Students will need to bring a packed lunch.
Please review the forms coming home and include any medical information we should know and send them back to the school.
Closer to the date, we will include a blog post about what the children should bring. This information is also on the back of the letter. As a reminder, if you have not paid the activity fee, please do so on your my cbe account.
If you wish to volunteer, and have completed your security clearance through the school, please contact your child's teacher. We require 4 volunteers per class.

The Grade Two Team
Also a few students have asked about the swimming forms. Due to the growth of the school we have had to split up the scheduled swimming times. Half of the school (including 3 out of the 5 grade two classes) will go in April and the remaining half will go in June. Mrs. Krahn, Mrs. Brar and Mrs. Scherschel's classes will go April 16-19 and Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Schrattner's class will go in June. Sorry if this has caused some confusion.
We have our next round of student led conferences next week! If you haven't already signed up for a time slot to visit the classroom, please head to the conference manager on your -mycbeaccount. It will be the same format as our last conferences. 4 families may be in the room at the same time and students will lead you through some stations to share their learning. If you would like to discuss any concerns more privately, please let me know and we can schedule a separate meeting outside of these conferences.
